Denver Children’s Home is one of the most successful agencies in the region at helping children and adolescents who have survived trauma and abuse confront severe mental health issues. We cannot do this critical work without the involvement of dedicated community partners like you. Please make a gift today and help us change lives.

Unfortunately, the agencies that refer children to us for treatment cannot reimburse for the true cost of care. We must raise 25% of our budget each year through contributed revenue. It is because of generous donors like you that Denver Children’s Home is able to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. Join us in helping kids and make a gift today.

Your gift will go a long way toward ensuring that kids have access to effective therapists, treatment supervisors, counselors and teachers. In fact, over $4 million dollars of our $5.3 million budget is related to personnel expenses. We hire and train the most passionate and caring people, ensuring a safe and supportive environment to best meet the needs of our clients.

To make a gift by phone, please call Sarah Friedman, Development Director at 720-881-3366 or by email at sfriedman@denverchildrenshome.org.

The ropes course reminds me of my situation. The wire represents my life - at the beginning it is a little wobbly but you have the pole to keep you sturdy. The first pole represents my parents; they keep me sturdy even when I stumble and fall. I get to the middle of the wire and it becomes so wobbly I fall off. But next time, as I work my way across, DCH throws me a rope, and I am no longer flapping in the wind. DCH keeps me sturdy, and yes, the wire (my life) still gets wobbly, but I have the rope to keep me on track.
