Denver Children’s Home could not be successful without the efforts of its volunteers who dedicate their time, talent, and creative energy. While volunteers are critical to Denver Children's Home’s success, currently we do not have any volunteer opportunities to work directly with the kids that we serve. As a facility for emotionally distressed and traumatized youth, our specially trained Therapists and Youth Treatment Counselors are qualified to work with the population we serve.

Cool-Fax & Kids Connect Committee
Want to help plan an amazing volunteer clean-up and community engagement event?!?! On Saturday, April 14, 2012 Denver Children’s Home will be hosting is 3rd Annual Cool-Fax & Kids Connect event and making a positive difference in our neighborhood by cleaning up Colfax Avenue from Monaco to Lincoln. We are looking for outgoing, fun, and dedicated people to help plan this wonderful event through marketing and promotion, securing in-kind donation, securing sponsorships, and recruiting volunteers. Gala Committee
Help DCH plan the 10th Annual Gala event, set for Thursday, September 22, 2011! Meetings are the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00-7:30pm at Denver Children’s Home. We are looking for dynamic, creative, and fun people to help make this fundraiser a huge success! Committee members help with logistics, sponsorship, marketing, décor, and the overall success of the event. Please contact the Development Department to get signed up.
Plan Your Own Fundraiser!
Help raise money for the kids and families served through Denver Children’s Home by planning your own fundraiser! Examples of different kinds of events are bake sales, workplace giving fundraisers, happy hour events, and much, much more! Please fill out and submit the FUNDRAISING EVENTS INQUIRY FORM. Submissions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A member of the Development Team will contact you within two weeks after your submission.
Activities and Performances for DCH Kids
Are you interested in doing something fun for the kids at Denver Children’s Home? Do you have some great ideas on cool activities or performances you think the kids would really enjoy? If so, please fill out and submit an ACTIVITIES INQUIRY FORM. Submissions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A member of the Development Department will contact you within two weeks of your submission.
Facilities Maintenance Projects
Denver Children’s Home is in a 109 year old building. To keep the building looking its best we rely on volunteer groups to help with facility maintenance projects like general cleaning of the building, painting, and landscaping. Facilities Maintenance Projects come up as needed, so please check with the Development Manager to see if any are available.
Supplies Drive
Support the kids that are served at Denver Children’s Home by doing a supplies drive. Organize a supply drive at your place of business or with your family and friends! Click here for a list of Items that DCH always needs.
