Thank You for Providing Us With Such A Memorable Holiday Season!!!
As we say goodbye to 2011 and welcome 2012, everyone at Denver Children’s Home has taken a moment to reflect on all of our blessings. This past holiday season was one of our best yet!
Thanks to the kindness and support of our generous community, we were able to provide the following gifts and memorable experiences for our children and their families:
- Over 500 home-cooked meals throughout the Holiday Season!
- 78 children and 290 family members had gifts to open Christmas morning!
- 15 people helped decorate 9 rooms and the exterior of our building for the holidays!
- Throughout November and December, each child was treated to a magic show, face painting, blanket making, new listening stations, Mrs. Clause visiting, the opportunity to meet some Broncos Players, cookies and cocoa, live music, a performance of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and A Christmas Carol, Nuggets and Broncos games, a luncheon in downtown Denver, outings at Rock Bottom Brewery, the Chophouse, and Strings restaurants, along with each of the gift wishes that they hoped for most this year!!!
- And to top it all off, we exceeded our goal and raised over $150,000 for DCH Programs!!!
It was an incredible year with much to be thankful for! On behalf of everyone at Denver Children’s Home, thank you for the outpouring of support that we receive each year. We look forward to the hope and promise that comes with a New Year!
