Thank you for your interest in Denver Children's Home (DCH). We are a unique treatment center for children ages birth to 18 years old and their families, who suffer from mental health issues in addition to abuse, neglect, and/or trauma. Our programs are uniquely designed to provide a continuum of care across school, home, and community. We offer prevention, early intervention, and treatment programs grounded in trauma-informed care and the latest information in brain-development research.

We are Colorado's expert in trauma-informed treatment for youth and families. We specialize in several types of treatment interventions, which form the core of the therapeutic services provided to children and families. These intervention approaches include:
- Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neuro-Sequential Model of Therapeutics
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Motivational Interviewing
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Project Success (Schools Using Coordinated Community Efforts to Strengthen Students) – SAMSHA Model Substance Abuse Prevention Program

To Make a Referral
We accept referrals from human services agencies, school districts, juvenile courts, mental health centers and providers, adoption agencies, and parents and caregivers.
Referrals may be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via fax, phone or e-mail. To make a referral, please call:
