Field Day 2026

Field Day at Denver Children’s Home is one of our favorite traditions of the year — a day filled with laughter, connection, friendly competition, and the simple joy of being together.

This year’s celebration brought students and staff outside for an afternoon of inflatables, games, music, a dunk tank, basketball challenges, and plenty of opportunities to make memories together. From cheering each other on to soaking staff members in the dunk tank, the day was filled with energy, excitement, and smiles across campus.

While Field Day is always fun, it also represents something deeper. At Denver Children’s Home, we know healing and growth happen not only in classrooms, therapy sessions, and treatment spaces, but also through moments of connection, trust, play, and belonging.

For many of the youth we serve, experiences like these help build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create positive memories that matter. Seeing students laugh freely, encourage one another, and simply enjoy being kids is a powerful reminder of why this work is so important.

Thank you to the staff, supporters, and community members who helped make this year’s Field Day such a special experience for our students. We are already looking forward to next year!
