Field Trip to Trades Day

We continue to be incredibly thankful for our inspiring supporter Danni Wagner and amazing relationship with Hilti. Danni partnered Denver Children’s Home with an upcoming event and, in September, our kids were welcomed by the ACE Mentor Program of Colorado and many others at Trades Day 2025. Trades Day provides hands-on activities for students to explore the various trade careers.

Our kids were engaging hands-on experiences with placing and finishing concrete, operating a concrete pump, electrical circuit board wiring, wall framing, drywall installation, pipe fittings, various power tools, and more! They each asked lots of questions to the employees there and it was apparent that their confidence skyrocketed throughout the day.

Overall, the kids had an amazing time learning about different careers in the field of construction. They seemed very hopeful and excited for future endeavors as expressing ideas for their career options and incredible gratitude.
