2025 Cultural Fair
May is really something at Denver Children's Home -- the school winds down before Summer Session begins, but there is still so much to do! One of our favorite moments before gradution is the Bansbach Academy's annual Cultural Fair. This year we traveled from the Phillipines to Italy, from Mexico to Kenya, Bolivia to Haiti — across the world and back. The kids taught the tourists about local cultures and languages, clothing, flora and fauna, and best of all - games!
We played Bocci Ball, put hot sauce on burritoes, tried to sketch the animals of Bolivia, chased waterbugs in a Kenyan game called Shisima, and played Piko — who knew that when we all played hopscotch as kids, kids across the Earth in the Phillipines were too?
